PATATRA is an art installation, a virtual space inspired by the early work as a theatre stage designer of Sergei Eisenstein, also known as the father of film montage. It’s developed as a detective play, a search of the perfect unit of montage, “the cut”.
“Patrata” was a project that he never produced because of lack of an adequate space and technical means, pointing out that the concept of montage was illustrated “splendidly”. He also offers a description of the project: “The production was planned with “chase tempos”, quick changes of action, scene intersection and simultaneous playing of several scenes on a stage that surrounded an auditorium of revolving seats” (Eisenstein, 2014:13) .

The Language Immersive Program (LIP) comes with a new approach towards learning or consolidating vocabulary from different foreign languages, integrating virtual and augmented reality as teaching tools.
The program has three main components:
1. exploration of the vocabulary with a strong cultural heritage component using media content displayed in VR and AR;
2. storytelling in VR; the participants will share their own stories about their cultural identity and heritage, creating short videos;
3. a virtual museum of stories;
